Our subsidiary, New Horizons, is a leading real estate receivership firm dedicated to maximizing value for stakeholders and ensuring smooth property operations during court-appointed receiverships. We offer a unique and challenging work environment where you'll collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including attorneys, accountants, property managers, and contractors.

Position Overview:

  • Manage all aspects of assigned receivership projects,?from initial assessments and due diligence to property stabilization,?leasing,?and ultimately,?disposition.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans,?budgets,?and timelines,?ensuring efficient resource allocation and project completion within defined constraints.

  • Oversee and manage the work of vendors,?contractors,?and property management teams,?ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular on-site inspections,?identify maintenance needs,?and manage repairs and renovations within budget and schedule.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports for court,?stakeholders,?and internal teams,?keeping everyone informed on project progress and potential challenges.

  • Negotiate lease agreements,?manage tenant relations,?and oversee rent collection activities.

  • Collaborate with external and internal legal counsel to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to receiverships.

  • Identify and proactively address potential risks and issues,?taking action to mitigate their impact on the project.

  • Act as second hand to Receiver as he liaisons between court, defendants, plaintiffs, and legal/support services teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration,?construction management,?real estate,?or a related field

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management,?ideally within the real estate industry.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively under pressure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and develop solutions.

  • Excellent communication,?interpersonal,?and negotiation skills,?with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g.,?MS Project,?Asana) and familiar with real estate management software.

  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
