Sales Development Representative - temporary position located in Saint Paul, MN

We plan to grow our team in 2024 to accelerate and support our growth objectives.
We are looking for highly motivated Sales Development Representatives who are eager to grow their sales career as members of our Sales Team. Our Sales Development Representative will report directly to the Sales Manager and will work closely with other members of the Sales Team while maintaining company vision and culture. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, researching, handling objections, and creating Sales Qualified Leads for our team of Sales Professionals. This is a pivotal role in our company’s success, and we want motivated self-starters with a technical aptitude and affinity for technology to help us expand our footprint in the world of IT monitoring. This is a fast-paced job, and we need individuals who can demonstrate an ability to get customers excited.
This will be a three-month position where success will be measured by several KPIs, willingness to work with the team and a positive attitude. Those that stand out from the crowd have the potential to earn a full-time position. Benefits will be offered following the extension of a full-time position.

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00pm. This position will be fully onsite.
Location: Saint Paul, Minnesota. Nagios is proud to provide services to users worldwide, but at this time we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time.
Job Duties:
  • Proactively engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquires
  • Engage current users to expand awareness, educate, ask for referrals, identify new opportunities, and develop account intelligence
  • Meet and exceed weekly call volume, customer engagement, and demo booking metrics
  • Effectively partner and work across the Go to Market teams, including direct and indirect sales channels and marketing
  • Determine prospects interest in Nagios
  • Work tenaciously to qualify leads and excite prospective clients with solutions we provide
  • Establish an effective sales funnel and customer pipeline
  • Work closely with other teams to develop account intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement and insight tools
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments and demos for the Sales Executives
  • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, email and chat
  • Act as the subject matter expert on product offerings/solution development skills
  • Maintain data integrity in our company CRM
Education & Experience:
  • BA/BS degree in business OR 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proven business development success through effective use of core sales tools: Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points within their IT environment, requirements needing to be met by the end-user, and correlating the value our software provides
