Knowledge and Experience:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must currently possess an unexpired CDL class B license with passenger endorsement or have the ability to obtain a CDL class B license with passenger endorsement within 6 months of hire.
• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• 2 years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite to include extensive use of Excel, Teams, Word, and Outlook required.
• Knowledge of Trapeze software is desired, but not required.
• Ability to work in a high volume and fast past environment with minimal supervision.
• High level of organization with the ability to multitask required.
• Ability to review complex problems and recommend a viable solution.
• Must be flexible and able to work varying hours that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior experience working with unionized employees is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC area is essential.
• Transit Experience highly desired.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that the schedules produced are achievable, and efficient.
• Utilize the full range of technological tools to manage phone and email correspondence related to call-outs, late arrivals, traffic conditions, and other circumstances that affect scheduling.
• Produce daily reports to relay scheduling changes and/or challenges to the Operations Management team.
• Forecast and monitor various events that may pose scheduling challenges to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
• Responsible for ensuring that the scheduling service provided is in accordance with the client’s and Keolis’ policies and procedures.
• Ensure schedules align with company goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with team leaders and supervisors to determine staffing needs.
• Resolves scheduling conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide adequate notice of any schedule changes or cancellations to the Operations Management team and Bus Operators affected.
• Create and maintain scheduling database.
• Critically analyze daily schedules to improve upon on-time performance and productivity.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
