Key Accountabilities:
Develops, communicates, enforces, and monitors effective Parts
Stocks inventory at appropriate levels while maintaining appropriate services to shop operations
Prepares and conducts physical inventories quarterly
Provides reports and computer-generated reports as necessary
Maintains an effective parts catalog system
develop relationships with key vendors
Review purchase orders
Prepare invoices for AP department by coding invoices with correct account code number
Evaluate inventory records
Maintain records and preparing required reports relevant to the operations of all parts departments
Provide technical assistance to parts department employees
Conduct meetings with parts department employees to discuss activities and problems of mutual interest and to develop strategies for a more efficient operation
Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
Other duties as assigned by management
