Come work with a great team! Iron River Care Center, in Michigan, is currently recruiting a seasoned Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for our 69-bed skilled nursing facility.
This position has accountability for managing resources, (human, material and financial) and ensuring quality, cost-effective delivery of services for the resident population. This person is recognized as a professional role model and promotes an environment that supports the goals and core values of our organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Directs quality and utilization standards to ensure coordinated plans of treatment, patient-focused delivery of services and cost- effective utilization of necessary services. Builds trust with the nursing staff through visibility.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of professional nursing experience.
Experience in a long-term care setting a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage and provide leadership with knowledge of data management, budget, and staff development in order to supervise planning and implementation of care. Experience with Point Click Care a plus.
Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a dynamic environment, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and display proficient oral/written communication skills. Must possess an active Michigan RN license.
