We have an exceptional opportunity for a strategic hands-on Human Resources Director at our Kosciusko, Mississippi location.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Human Resources role focuses on deeply understanding then aligning key business and employee strategies, practices, and processes to ensure we have a productive environment that delivers results and sets the standards of excellence for HR policies and practices. The HR Director is responsible for the full talent management cycle throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be a strategic partner and change agent that can agilely address issues with minimum disruption. The HR Director is an employee champion that can motivate through positive example with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy. This position will work closely with the leadership team, and will serve as a business and thought leader to set strategies that deliver the objectives of the business.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred with strong consideration given to PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP
  • Minimum of 7 years of plant-based Human Resources Manager and Generalist experience, with experience in manufacturing / operations a plus
  • Proven knowledge of the full talent management cycle: recruiting, hiring and retention
  • Experience with skill development training, leadership development and compensation practices
  • In-depth understanding of legal requirements related to areas of responsibility

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Demonstrated HR Leadership and Organizational Development

· Ability to recruit, hire, develop and retain talent throughout the organization

· Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, must effectively and clearly communicate with timely follow-up

· Understanding of HR related laws, including but not limited to: FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title 7, Age Discrimination, and state law statutes

· Ability to lead multi-discipline projects and follow-up with team members to ensure assignments are accomplished timely and accurately

· Ability to align and prioritize tasks according to corporate priorities

· Ability to foster a cooperative environment utilizing organization/coordination skills

· Excellent computer skills with HR software familiarity

· Ability to timely analyze processes and make recommendations for improvements

· Ability to develop, plan, and implement both short and long range goals and effectively meet timelines

· Supervision of HR staff and functions
