Position Summary: Join Shepherd Electric Supply's Inside Sales team! Seeking a motivated individual to sell our lighting product line. Collaborate with teams, make outbound calls, assist customers, and build relationships. Ideal candidate excels in negotiation, values professionalism, and is committed to ongoing product knowledge.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Pay: $45,000 - $55,000 a year

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with Outside Sales and Project Management teams
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to existing and potential customers
• Assist customers in identifying parts, provide quotes, and process orders for the Lighting Department
• Utilize strong negotiation skills to build relationships with Contractors and Vendors
• Demonstrate a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance
• Build and maintain customer relationships through outstanding service
• Stay motivated and participate in training to enhance knowledge of lighting product offerings
• Perform tasks assigned by the Leadership team

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience in the Lighting industry preferred
• Computer proficiency, familiarity with Eclipse software system and Cahill SAW8 for quotes is helpful
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
