About Shepherd Electric Supply: Shepherd Electric Supply, a leading Wholesale Distributor with a rich history since 1892, is seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Manager to join our team. We take pride in our experienced and knowledgeable sales team, and we are looking for a motivated individual to lead our Counter Sales department. This position is based in Frederick, MD, with locations in Laurel and Baltimore MD, Washington DC, and Sterling, Virginia.

Position Summary: The Will Call Representative plays a critical role in our company. You will join a team of experienced peers while performing a variety of functions within our warehouse and counter teams. The essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary based on business needs.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:30 am - 2:30 pm

Pay: $20.00/hr-$22.00/hr

Essential Functions:

• General warehousing experience required, including but not limited to:
• Order pulling and Stock rotation through RF gun
• Receiving and Merchandise return processing
• Demonstrates a professional attitude, conduct, and appearance
• Maintains customer satisfaction by assisting customers with identifying parts, providing quotes, processing orders, restocking counter merchandise while pulling all Will Call orders
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Work in a team environment, supporting multiple product lines
• Process Credit Card and Cash transactions
• Participates in training to maintain and grow basic knowledge of electrical products
• Performs all other associated tasks assigned by Leadership team

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Warehouse experience preferred
• 1 - 3 years of experience in the Electrical industry preferred
• Computer proficiency preferred, Eclipse software system helpful
• Ability to work on feet (stand and walk) for the entire assigned work shift
• Able to repeatedly bend, stoop, or climb to transport work materials, including climbing ladders when necessary
• Ability to lift 70 - 80 lbs.
• A valid driver's license and Forklift Certification preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Bilingual (Spanish), a plus
