Position Summary & Duties:
This Highway Maintenance Supervisor position works in the District Three office located in Phillipsburg, KS. This position manages and directs a crew of highway equipment operators and plans, directs, and coordinates all maintenance activities on the highway system in a subarea. The Highway Maintenance Supervisor is also responsible for managing the maintenance of a defined number of lane miles of state and/or interstate highways and the various features associated with those routes. These features include the roadway surface, shoulders, traffic guidance signs, drainage structures and the roadside.
