Ohio Valley Opportunities has an outstanding career opportunity available for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant. Knowledge of general accounting and bookkeeping practices, as well as a strong work ethic, are required. Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks. This position will provide assistance with day-to-day tasks in our finance department and play an integral role in maintaining account information. The Accounting Assistant will manage data, records and reports by checking for errors and verifying accuracy of information. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. An associate’s degree in accounting or a related field and a minimum of three years’ experience in accounting preferred. Other requirements for this position include:
