NORCAL Ambulance is looking to hire a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our rapidly growing team!

Hours: Full Time (Monday - Friday)

Pay: $70,000

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in: Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or

* Minimum of 4 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations.

* Knowledge of California state and local labor regulations and laws.

* Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough and impartial HR investigations.

* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity

Key Responsibilities:1. Employee Relations:

* Serve as a primary point of contact for employees, addressing queries, concerns, and grievances.

* Foster a positive working environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential sources of conflict or dissatisfaction.

* Provide counsel to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters, ensuring fairness and consistency.

Investigations:

* Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations in response to employee complaints or allegations of policy violations.

* Collaborate with legal and management teams when necessary during investigations.

* Ensure all investigations are timely, compliant with legal requirements, and thoroughly documented.

2. HR Administration:

* Oversee various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance evaluations.

* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

3.Training and Development:

* Develop and facilitate training programs focused on workplace conduct, conflict resolution, and other pertinent topics.

* Support the professional growth and development of our staff through skill-building initiatives.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

* Maintain meticulous records of employee interactions, investigations, and resolutions.

* Produce regular reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and the outcomes of investigations.

* Other duties as assigned
