Summary

Reporting directly to the Lead Advisor, the VP of Advice Delivery & Experience plays a pivotal role at NorthRock, driving integrated advice excellence across teams to meet strategic objectives. This newly created position collaborates with leadership to shape client experience goals and integrate advice teams under NorthRock’s Personal Office ® model.

The ideal candidate demonstrates expertise, passion, and proven skills in advice delivery, with a focus on operational efficiency, collaboration, problem-solving, and influencing. Success hinges on timely implementation of coordinated advice, client-driven improvements, and measurable outcomes. This leader aims to streamline procedures for consistent advice delivery in partnership with advisor teams, offering thoughtful feedback to the Executive Board. They provide vision and leadership for planning, deploying, and training operational workflows to enhance efficiency and profitability.

This individual will drive growth by creating referable client experiences and new business through a well-coordinated Personal Office ®.

Essential Functions

• Lead advice teams to drive excellence and growth through client support, guidance, and counseling, fostering a referable experience.
• Provide strategic leadership and supervision to Advice teams and advisory practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct quarterly advice team management reviews, 1x1 meetings, team gatherings, and quarterly advisory retreats to deliver meaningful coaching and feedback.
• Develop customized growth plans for each advice team, tailoring strategies to maximize performance.
• Lead the development of procedures and processes to integrate best practices across all client segments.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders (Operations, Finance, Business Development, Marketing, HR, and Advisor teams) to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Drive expanded utilization of Salesforce and other software programs across advice teams.
• Partner with Compliance to ensure adherence to information security, corporate governance, and process standards.
• Enable higher performance within teams through coaching, mentorship, and leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Benchmark performance against industry best practices to drive ongoing refinement.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and implement innovative solutions, enhancing quality, efficiency, and productivity.

Required Education & Experience

• 10 years of relevant experience
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or business (Master’s degree, a plus
• Background in the financial services industry, preferably as a CPA or Advisor.
• Previous involvement in learning and development initiatives.
• Demonstrated track record of developing individuals and leading cross-functional teams to success.
• Proven history of enhancing processes and driving departmental growth.
