Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• Support Month-end closing with bank and account reconciliation, journal entries
• Pay bills and invoices
• Fixed Assets and depreciation
• Maintain database of Bill of Materials (BOM) in Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Create and modify BOMs as required
• Assist in reviewing and developing standard costs for raw material
• Perform inventory valuation and reconciliation for month-end closing, COGS calculation
• Analyze inventory variances, stock levels, and obsolescence reserve calculation for raw materials
• Assist warehouse managers in tracking current stock availability for all plants, stock consumption and movements in MS Dynamics NAV, period-end adjustments, etc.
• Assist Cost Analyst in variance analysis and stock movement for raw material, as well as for material costing by SKU, brand and customer

Job Requirements for the Accountant

• 6 years of accounting experience
• Work experience as an Inventory Accountant, Cost Accountant or similar roles
• Must have experience in manufacturing
• Must possess a strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, inventory, raw materials, cost of goods sold, overhead costs, etc
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV is highly preferred
• Must possess strong Excel skills

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
