Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
- Responsible for financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Review departmental budget proposals
- Provide quarterly budget versus actual analysis for department managers
- Analyzing monthly spending patterns
- Report monthly variance to the CFO
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Help CFO with pension contribution related tasks
- Assist the Controller with accounting related journal entry and reconciliations
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications of the Financial Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting Background
- Excellent Excel and reporting skills
- Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind
- Proficient in MS Office
- Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
