• Experience in the design and testing of software applications.

• The ability to design and develop source code for software applicants and plan integration.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science

As an R&D Engineer II-Software:

What you will do:

• Develop source code in C#.
• Maintain and enhance existing relational databases.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes.
• Interface with other departments to determine and meet project requirements.

Additional Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 7 years of professional software development experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience developing and updating stored procedures.
• Comfort in developing with Git, coding standards, and code reviews.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning
• Experience with SSRS
• Experience running database metrics and monitoring tools.
• Experience designing and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions.
• Recent development experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, such as Azure web applications, App Services, Blob Storage, Functions, etc., is a plus.
