Our client is looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer (Devops) in Fort Worth Texas to join their growing team.

This is a full time role and not open to contract or C2C candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of an existing application from a conventional Windows server to a containerized environment and Platform as a Service (PaaS) within Azure, ensuring high availability.
• Design, develop, and test new features for applications, maintaining regular communication with stakeholders. Implement and troubleshoot functionality using Python and .NET.
• Develop and validate Pipelines for automated builds and deployments in the Azure Cloud.
• Ensure adherence to software standards and established procedures.
• Apply design patterns to create scalable and high-performance application features.
• Utilize source control effectively for code management.
• Apply technical standards and principles to solve moderate scope and complexity technical issues.
• Set and achieve objectives with guidance, receiving feedback from supervisors on meeting goals.
• Provide technical solutions within defined procedures, contributing to project milestones.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within a software development team.
• Over 3 years of experience in Python and .NET programming.
• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with Cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps, automating development workflows including build pipelines, automated deployment, and SDLC management.
• Proficiency in designing and supporting Micro-Service RESTful APIs.
• Thorough understanding of JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structures.
• Experience creating deployment pipelines for Azure Services.
• Familiarity with Docker containers and multi-environment deployments.
• Solid grasp of design concepts and patterns.
• Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
• Strong aptitude for learning and applying programming concepts.
