Floor Care Technician The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Floor Care Technician to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. The Floor Care Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness, appearance, and longevity of our floors, contributing to a safe and opulent environment for our discerning guests .

• Perform cleaning and maintenance of marble surfaces, including polishing, buffing, and sealing
• Identify and address specific issues stains, scratches, odors or damage on marble and carpeted floors
• Utilize specialized equipment and cleaning solutions to preserve quality and aesthetics of marble and carpeted surfaces
• Execute carpet cleaning procedures vacuuming, shampooing, and steam cleaning
• Conduct regular, thorough inspections to identify any maintenance needs or potential issues with floors, providing swift solutions
• Report and document findings, recommend and implement appropriate actions to address concerns promptly
• Maintain and ensure the optimal functioning of all floor care equipment
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with cleaning chemicals and equipment

• Experience as a Floor Care Technician with specialized expertise in marble and carpet care
• Knowledge of various floor types, cleaning chemicals and methods, and operation of equipment
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands: ability to lift heavy equipment and move furniture
