POSITION SUMMARY

We have an exciting opportunity to join Lovelace Medical Center as a Director of Case Management

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Director, Case Management include:

• Directs and administers strategic, operational, fiscal and personnel activities of the Case Management department to ensure procedures adhere to standards of various accrediting and regulatory agencies.
• Prepares and manages budgets, manages/supervises staff and ensures quality services are provided through daily operations.
• Manages and oversees plan of care for patients.
• Serves as a liaison and provides support.
• Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, business or related field of study; Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance with policy
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Five (5) years of case management experience of which three (3) years must have been in a management capacity. Relevant education and/or experience may be substituted for one another in accordance to policy

Licensure :

• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire) or current Case Management Certificate/Fellowship Status; employee will be required to maintain license and requisite CEUs
