As our Corporate HR Director you will have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to ensure successful recruitment, retention, and development strategies of employees across our family of communities in Pennsylvania and Delaware. You will work closely with corporate leadership and community management to ensure that our corporate and senior living policies follow local, state, and federal regulations. Sound good? Great! Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:Job Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary source of expertise and counsel on employee relations, engagement, and performance management.
  • Serve as a corporate representative and liaison between the company and its Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
  • Develop and administer HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee & administer special deduction programs, including but not limited to COBRA, Wage Garnishments and Leave of Absence.
  • Oversee and audit the administration of all employee benefits programs at the corporate office and throughout communities.
  • Develop and implement processes for compliance with laws and regulations related to labor and employment.
  • Complete payroll processing for corporate office employees, as well as overseeing the funding of payroll for all Vantage Point locations.
  • Create and standardize training and orientation procedures. Perform training sessions as needed.
  • Implement, monitor, and report on employee recruitment and retention efforts in all Vantage Point communities.
  • Develop and manage performance management systems, including performance review processes and disciplinary processes.
  • Support communities in creating a positive and productive work environment with a strong culture.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to communities on HR best practices, including:
    • Maintaining accurate personnel records
    • Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and recommending placement of staff
    • Addressing employee grievances and complaints
    • Monitoring compliance with labor laws and regulations
    • Developing and coordinating health and safety programs
    • Monitoring employee work hours and attendance
    • Preparing and managing HR budgets
  • Monitor the effectiveness of HR systems and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze and recommend changes to existing HR strategies and policies.
  • Monitor trends in the senior living industry and advise senior management on strategies for anticipating and responding to changes in the industry.
With our team members and communities in mind, the right candidate for this position will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience in a leadership role
  • Certification in HR (PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) is preferred
  • Strong understanding of senior living industry regulations and practices
  • Proven track record of success in developing and leading a Human Resources team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Willingness to travel to communities ranging from 30-minutes to 2.5-hours of corporate office on a routine basis
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems, including but not limited to PEO platforms, time keeping, recruitment, and learning management systems.
