Position Title: Regional Sales Manager
Reports to: VP of Sales

As a Regional Sales Manager with Hoffman Hydronics, you will:

  • Direct and support a team of sales engineers to ensure peak performance.
  • Design, implement and consistently monitor Sales Goals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor performance management plans.
  • Routinely hold the team accountable for sales activities.
  • Determine customer and activity priorities.
  • Periodically review customer account assignments.
  • Provide market feedback to management and to vendors.
  • Participate in sales calls.
  • Provide training and guidance to the inside & outside sales team.
  • Coordinate strategic sales initiatives with other sales leaders.
  • Develop and manage relationships with select key GC’s, developers, owners, and architects.
  • Help maintain vendor relationships and coordinate branch office visits.
  • Ensure each sales engineer is in the best possible position to be successful.
  • Maintain proper staffing levels for the territory.
  • Manage all human resources activities.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and staff as needed.
  • Communicate customer feedback with management.
  • Work closely with the other parts of the Hoffman Organization in order to leverage their skills and resources to better support efforts with our mutual clients.
  • Continuous professional development through company-provided and self-training, including, but not limited to, business and finance, marketing, sales process & strategy, and public speaking.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or Construction Management from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 or more years of direct industry sales and/or management experience and strong references required.
