Benefits Specialist 2904

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with 401(k), 457(b), FSA, and IRS regulations.
  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs.
  • Conduct audits of carrier invoices to verify correct billing.
  • Oversee workers' compensation claims and procedures.
  • Handle leave of absence requests and associated paperwork, including FMLA.
  • Collaborate closely with payroll specialists on pay rates, deductions, and leave management.
  • Proficiency in Paycom software for HR and payroll processes.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms like ADP, Kronos, Taleo, PeopleSoft, or Workday is beneficial.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of benefits administration and compliance.
  • Experience in auditing and financial accuracy.
  • Knowledgeable in managing workers' compensation and leave of absence protocols.
  • Capable of working with payroll and understanding the nuances of employee compensation.
  • Comfortable using Paycom and other HRIS software for reporting and data management.

  • Ability to pick up new systems and procedures quickly.

Requirements:

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

A bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or a related field in HR is also preferred.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of solid work experience.

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.

The candidate should have intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating Pivot tables, V-lookups, and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
