Schedule: Looking for 1/2 day Saturday (1-4/mo, negotiable) 1/2 day any weekday full day any weekday starting in July

Pay:

$75/hr ($100/hr on Saturday) base pay 10% of daily gross revenue after reaching daily base pay equivalent

Lumos Eyecare prides itself on creating a positive environment for our patients before, during, and after their interactions with our staff. We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Optometrist to join our team.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Optometrist to join our team on a part-time basis, working some combination of 1/2 day Saturday (1-4/mo, negotiable) 1/2 day any weekday full day any weekday. Our office has been set up to run seamlessly and efficiently so you can focus on patient care. You will have a receptionist/tech to guide you through the day, and our owner, Dr. Kiranjeet Sran, will meet with you on your first day to get you started!

Dr. Sran, our owner, graduated from SUNY Optometry in 2017. She has experience working in multiple retail settings as well as most recently in a NYC community health clinic. She started Lumos Eyecare in her home state of NJ in 2023 so she can bring all she has learned back home. She enjoys training new ODs and will also be actively working at the practice so that you don’t have to worry about anything other than seeing your patients.

Exam flow:

- Check-in and Pre-testing (VA, NCT, Autorefractor, Auto Lensometer) done by technician/receptionist

- Your problem-focused examination of patients (dilation drops provided)

- I will share daily profits with you after base pay is met

- We provide myopia management (misight, orthokeratology, atropine drops) and dry eye management (punctal plugs), which will add to your daily profits

- EHR is EyeCloud Pro; the owner will provide you with training for charting on day 1

- Most exams are private pay (no insurance); tech/receptionist will collect and explain fees; all administrative tasks will be taken care of by Dr. Sran so you can focus on clinical care!

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution

- Valid NJ state optometry license and up-to-date credentials
