The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
• 5 years' experience in Human Resources
• Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
• Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
• Attention to detail and good judgement
• Experience with SOX compliance requirements – publicly traded companies
• Experience with compliance reporting data gathering and filing: EEO-1, CA Pay Data, Vets
• Experience with immigration – working with outside counsel to file for Visas, TNs, H1Bs, Permanent Residency
• Experience with relocations – relocating a new hire, taxable requirement tracking

Desired:

Experience with HR analytics and reporting.

Knowledge of international HR practices and regulations.

Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Experience working with and influencing senior executives or other senior organizational leaders.

Experience in Oil and Gas industry.
