The Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Located in West Babylon, New York, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary position.Your responsibilities in this role- Provide support during internal and external audits- Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department- Operate full-cycle A/P
