Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and administering infusion therapies. We are a private Rheumatology practice with 6 physicians. We have two locations including Elk Grove Village, IL and Barrington, IL and looking for someone available Tuesday through Thursday/Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapies to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients during infusion treatments and assess for any adverse reactions
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures and care
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of infusion treatments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
- Certification in Infusion Nursing preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care to patients with developmental disabilities
