Duties
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse -Obtain and record patients' health history including medications, testing, and referrals
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and general health information
- Assist with entering for laboratory and imaging services

Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology; Rheumatology or infusion center experience a plus
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks, such as managing medical records. -Experience with using a EHR a must, Nextgen/TSI a plus
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and basic life support techniques
- Ability to accurately take and record patients' vital signs
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus

Skills:
- Strong patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information
- Proficiency in medication administration techniques and understanding of dosage calculations
- Familiarity with medical coding processes and ability to assist with coding tasks
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and medical records

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
