A healthcare network in New York is looking to boost their Accounts Payable Department in Westchester County with the addition of a new Accounts Payable Manager. In this role, the Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for managing overall operations of the department to assure timely processing of payments to vendors, service providers, contractors, etc. for proper flow of goods and services necessary to maintain the network's operations.

Responsibilities
The Accounts Payable Manager will:

• Manage the monthly financial close and financial statement preparation processes
• Maintain payment terms for most vendors and reduction of credit holds at the same time as well as prevent credit holds
• Set up policies and procedures for the Accounts Payable Department's written policies and guidelines are available to AP personnel and the network
• Monitor all expenditures to ensure that the unclaimed property records are correct to minimize exposure to the NYS Office of Unclaimed Funds
• Provide continuous training to operating departments on how to complete transactions
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with basic Accounting functions
• Quality Management capabilities
• Microsoft Office Suite proficient (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Solid analytical, mathematical, and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized
