Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making.

Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and oversee payroll processing
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed

Skills:
- Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation principles and practices
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
- Previous experience in public accounting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- General ledger reconciliation expertise
- Experience with payroll processing
