Talent Software services is Hiring a Sr. HRIS Analyst Near Mountain View, CA

Under direction of the HRIS Manager, theHR Data AnalystIII will operate in both a reporting and data analyst capacity. This role will design and develop reports, metrics and analysis to help drive key business decisions. The HR Data Analyst III will cultivate a data-driven decision-making culture by providing data visualization and presentation through data extraction, analysis, and standard/dashboard reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data analytics to help drive change
  • Design and develop ad-hoc reports, standard reports, and/or dashboards utilizing data across multiple platforms to provide meaningful and accurate insights
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly standard reports and analytics timely and accurately to key stakeholders across the company
  • Extract and transform data from Workday and other systems as necessary, providing consolidated, accurate reporting and analysis
  • Work collaboratively with peers and coworkers to achieve business objectives
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to determine data accuracy/quality
  • Investigate and perform root cause analysis of data gaps and inaccuracies
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
  • Demonstrate a consultative and client-oriented approach to data analysis and interpretation to be able to tell a story
  • Support Workday update process through data validation and functional regression testing of deployed reports and dashboards
  • Manage submissions for regulatory reporting and benchmark surveys
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
  • BA or BS Degree in Business, Data Analytics, Statistics or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of specialized experience in HR data and related technologies
  • Strong knowledge of HR reporting systems, including Workday HCM, Prism, Big Data Analytics, Peakon, Tableau, Visier and/or other standalone systems
  • Experience providing consultative support for executives and HR leaders, translating business requirements into analytical solutions, providing data for all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency w/ MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Basic SQL knowledge and experience using Business Intelligence platforms preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, highly dynamic atmosphere and react quickly to changes and shifting priorities
  • Ability to take initiative to strive for improvement in analytics techniques, process, and output
  • Advanced skills in situational analysis, research, troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Ability to work effectively in both an individual and team dynamic (cross-functional teams)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates high integrity and ethics when handling confidential information
