Job Description :
This position will be primarily based in Southern California and provide support for projects in San Diego, Los Angeles and Orange Counties as well as the Inland Empire.
You will conduct initial building inspections, asbestos and lead abatement oversight and assist project managers with industrial hygiene inspections.
You will evaluate sampling results and prepare risk assessment reports and develop recommendations to correct and improve the environment.
Present and communicate findings and report recommendations to clients. In addition, you will support in environmental services such as Phase I Assessments, Limited Site Investigations, and regulatory compliance, as needed.
Essential Role and Responsibilities :
Performance of building inspections for asbestos-containing building materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Perform air monitoring and visual inspections during asbestos and lead abatement projects.
Calibrate, clean and maintain field monitoring equipment, such as sampling devices, sampling media and microscope.
Performing indoor air quality assessments and other industrial hygiene assessments.
May serve as team member or participate in meetings and communications with client pertaining to specific projects / tasks.
Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management.
Candidate will be required to adhere to strict company health and safety standards.
Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
The expected salary range for this position is listed below. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant.
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
$70300 - $98400 annually
