As a Field Chief Technology Officer (Field CTO)specializing in Data Engineering you will lead the development andexecution of data strategies across field operations.

This rolerequires expertise in data management analytics and technologyleadership to drive innovation and ensure the effective use of datafor business insights and operational improvements.

The Field CTOwill work closely with executive leadership including the ChiefTechnology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) toalign data strategies with overall technologyinitiatives

Responsibilities :

Data StrategyDevelopment :

• Collaborate with senior management to defineand implement data strategies aligned with businessobjectives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data forimproving operational efficiency anddecisionmaking.

Data Architecture andInfrastructure :

• Design and oversee the implementation ofscalable and efficient data architecture andinfrastructure.
• Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologiesand tools for data storage processing andanalysis.

Data Governance andQuality :

• Establish data governance frameworks and bestpractices to ensure data integrity security andcompliance.
• Implement processes for data qualityassurance and continuousimprovement.

Analytics andInsights :

• Lead the development of data analyticscapabilities to derive actionable insights from field operationsdata.
• Collaborate with data scientists and businessanalysts to develop predictive models and reportingsolutions.

Team Leadership andDevelopment :

• Manage and mentor a team of data engineersand analysts.
• Foster a culture of innovation andprofessional development within the data engineeringteam.

StakeholderEngagement :

• Partner with business stakeholders tounderstand data requirements andpriorities.
• Communicate data strategies insights andrecommendations to executive leadership and operationalteams.

Vendor Management andPartnerships :

• Evaluate and manage relationships with datatechnology vendors and serviceproviders.
• Collaborate with external partners to driveinnovation and leverage emerging datatechnologies.

Risk Management andCompliance :

• Identify and mitigate risks related to datasecurity privacy and regulatorycompliance.
• Ensure adherence to data protectionregulations and standards.

Requirements

Requirements :

• Proven experience in a seniorleadership role focused on data engineering such as Chief DataOfficer (CDO) Director of Data Engineering orsimilar.
• Deep understanding of Data Science dataarchitecture ETL processes data modeling and data warehousetechnologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWSAzure Google Cloud) and big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop SparkKafka).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skillswith the ability to translate business needs into technicalrequirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills.
• Experience in managing and developinghighperforming data engineeringteams.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer ScienceEngineering Statistics or related field (advanced degreepreferred).
• Relevant certifications in data management orrelated areas (e.g. Certified Data Management Professional AWSCertified Big Data Specialty) are aplus
