We are seeking an experienced HR Director with outstanding people skills to manage our employees and ensure that our human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, and aligned to overall business objectives. Duties for the HR Director will include supervising HR personnel, serving as cultural change agent, managing employee engagement, executing all people related and pay processes, supporting leadership and employees in all aspects of the employees’ lifecycle including recruitment, on-boarding, training, and performance management. As TAT Limco continues to grow, this person will be instrumental in leading the growth on the people side.
The HR Director is a member of Limco’s local leadership team as well as the TAT Group’s Human Resources leadership team.
Main responsibilities:
o Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business and group strategy.
o Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
o Facilitate all recruitment for the company, including supporting managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters.
o Supports management by providing direction, advice, and counseling on variety of human resources matters.
o Develop and manage leadership development for front line leaders.
o Manage and enhance employees’ engagement through strategic cultural alignment supporting both site facility and group initiatives.
o Maintain pay plan and benefits program including but not limited to payroll administration, benefit enrollment and facilitation, 401K, PTO, leave, etc.
o Responsible for building and implementing employee retention plan.
o Implement and monitor performance appraisal system; serve as the facilitator of the performance management process.
o Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
o Develop and update procedures, methods, policies, and guidelines.
o Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
o Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
o SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred
o Proven working experience of at least 5 years in HR leadership position in manufacturing plant/companies
o Thorough knowledge of human resource management principles and practices
o People-oriented and results driven
o Knowledge of HR systems and databases
o Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
o Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
o In-depth knowledge of labor law complying with legal requirements
o Understanding of cultural norms, traditions, and working with diverse teams
