Description: We are seeking a full-time skilled Medical Assistant who provides high-quality healthcare to community members. The right candidate is committed to improving the health and well-being of patients through compassionate care and a patient centered approach. General job duties:
Assist healthcare providers in various clinical procedures and examinations.Take and record patient vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints.Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other diagnostic tests.Maintain and update patient medical records accurately and confidentially.Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment.Provide patients with education and instructions regarding their conditions and treatment plans.Assist with front-office duties such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information.Third Street is an equal opportunity employer. Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalentCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, preferredCurrent Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred.CPR/BLS certification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.Compassion and empathy for patients.Previous experience in a clinical setting is a plus.About Us:
