Project Architect

This position will be responsible for producing complete construction documents, developing project design details, and coordination with consultants.

Project Architect Responsibilities

Provide leadership in coordinating execution of design intent into the construction documentation, specifications, and throughout construction administration.

Generate preliminary site plans from criteria provided by the Owner that respond to the topography, survey and legal description, and local jurisdiction development standards.

Coordinate with outside consultants including but not limited to, building departments, fire department, engineers, and surveyors.

Manage project timelines, schedules, resources and project budget.

Resolve complex technical/design issues and provide guidance to team and consultants.

Participate in and lead team discussions on technical and other project related issues.

Prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents.

Project Architect Qualifications

We are looking for an individual that has specific experience with Commercial Office, Retail, and Education projects. Our clients mandate very short timeframes for production, therefore candidates must be able to succeed in a fast-paced office environment and manage details for multiple projects simultaneously.

Architectural Registration in AZ required.

LEED accreditation a plus.

8-10 years’ experience in architectural practice.

Demonstrated leadership and experience with project teams.

Experienced in client interaction.

Demonstrated experience in construction document preparation, bid review, construction administration and field observation.

Must have strong AutoCAD skills, REVIT experience preferred.

Experience with SketchUp, MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.
