What They Do: Our client provides online music lessons to people of all ages around the world and is the fastest growing music school. Their groundbreaking app helps you learn in real time while you practice and teachers are available round the clock to fit students’ needs.

THE ROLE

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a vital role as the first point of contact for prospective music students. You will be selling new students either their introductory trial lesson or a recurring private lesson based on their needs and building a rapport with them. You’ll need to be very familiar with our client’s service model and collaborate with other sales representatives to ensure the best customer experience.

This role is onsite in Chicago, IL and requires you to work Thursday-Monday day shifts.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Be the first point of contact for all new students and set them up for an introductory lesson or recurring private lessons
  • Develop a relationship with new students, paving the way for good communication throughout the lesson process
  • Be familiar with our client’s offerings and service model
  • Collaborate with other team members and share insights from calls to ensure the sales process is smooth and effective with a great customer experience
  • Eventually train other sales representatives to be just as passionate and considerate

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Ability to work Thursday-Monday day shifts
  • Previous sales experience with a passion for sales and the customer experience
  • Proven track record to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Motivated, ambitious, and action-oriented. Our client needs a go-getter who is eager to jump in
