58 Roosevelt Bar and Grill is now accepting applications for Head Chef.
58 Roosevelt Bar and Grill is a fast-paced seasonal restaurant located in Saratoga Springs N.Y. 12866. Our restaurant is the main dining facility for the Victoria Pool and Saratoga Spa Golf Course. Along with daily and early evening food service, 58 also caters to frequent onsite events (i.e. Weddings, golf outings, Showers etc.) and summer concert guests. Fun summer atmosphere and extremely friendly work environment located directly in the center of Saratoga Spa State Park.
Position is seasonal May-October 
Position is salary based
Chef will recieve 2 full days off per week
Bonus pay available through event work
Day and early evening establishment. No late nights.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Full oversight of kitchen and its staff (training and motivating).
  • Daily food service (must be capable to be on line and working with staff).
  • Scheduling.
  • Ordering.
  • Menu Development.
  • Maintaining quality food standards.
  • Maintaining effective food and labor costs.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Clean work history.
  • References.
  • Multitasking.
  • Minimum 2 yrs experience a must.
  • Catering knowledge.
  • Ability to handle/organize a fast paced environment.
  • Drug-free.
  • Punctuality/reliability.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all wait and kitchen staff.
  • Have clear, calm and effective communication skills.
  • Work respectfully and professionally with other management.
  • Able to commit to a May through October work season.

We boast a full menu of lite spring/summer/fall fare to be enjoyed poolside, on our expansive patios, or in our historic main dining room. 58 Roosevelt Bar and Grill is a great place to enjoy a casual poolside lunch or dinner with family and friends after a round of golf.
