What You Will be Doing:
This position provides primary office services and general clerical support for the Paid Leave team, in office or remote. This includes general office support, reception and assistance, administrative and business services and recordkeeping. It includes having daily communication with program staff, other offices, sections or divisions to answer questions and provide general information about the program, policies, procedures, scheduling appointments, making travel and meeting arrangements, obtaining missing or additional information, assisting in the completion of forms and applications, and distributing material such as forms, code books, brochures, posters, course material, and registration packets.

What We Are Looking For (Desired Attributes):
- Ability to independently problem solve and manage multiple competing priorities
- Experience providing excellent customer care and communicating effectively with internal and external customers in person, by email and/or phone.
- Experience managing calendars, appointments and scheduling appointments and taking notes in meetings
- Intermediate experience using computer systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience providing clerical and administrative support for office staff, management in an office and professional environment.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; OR
An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Hybrid Remote Work Information:
This position will required to report to the Salem Central Office at least 2 times per week. Candidates may be approved for hybrid remote work. Hybrid remote work suitability is evaluated based upon business needs at the time of hire. Hybrid remote work approval can be revoked at any time. Candidates are expected to:
- Reside within (or be willing to relocate to) Oregon, or one of its bordering states within a reasonable commuting distance (e.g. Vancouver, Washington).
- Be able to report to the office location listed in the job posting, as necessary.
- Demonstrate access to a broadband internet connection that meets or exceeds the minimum acceptable requirements;
