Robert Half is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Rye, NY

DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a contract HR Generalist based in Rye, New York. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department and team, taking charge of tasks such as benefits administration, payroll, and other generalist tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic and challenging work environment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee benefits administration, ensuring all employees are informed and supported during open enrollment periods
  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
  • Utilize ADP and Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookup) for various tasks, demonstrating strong numerical skills
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, demonstrating effective communication skills
  • Ensure compliance with all HR policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Handle employee relations issues, demonstrating tact and diplomacy
  • Perform various HR-related tasks as required, demonstrating a broad understanding of HR functions
  • Use various HR systems effectively
  • Administer compensation policies, ensuring all employees are fairly compensated.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role
  • Familiarity with payroll and ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
  • Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
  • Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, About Time software
  • Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
  • Proven experience with Compliance and Employee Relations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
