Our client, a global player in design & manufacturing for the automotive sector, is seeking an Associate Project Manager to join their small, collaborative team in Rochester Hills.

ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Project Manager is responsible for planning and launching new projects:
  • Guide and direct the project team throughout each lifecycle phase
  • Ensure project budgets and quality targets are met
  • Interface with customers for issue resolving on new and existing programs
  • Work closely with upper management and relay project, health, and milestone statuses
  • Utilize work plans, matrices, and key performance indicators to track & manage progress
  • Provide engineering with development assistance and guide validation testing
  • Assure proper documentation according to company procedures & standards
  • Establish & maintain project timelines using the available project management software
  • Other duties as assigned
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 1 years of automotive program management experience
  • Experience working with automotive customers – OEMs and/or Tier 1s
