Position Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented Project Manager to lead and deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from estimating and scheduling to assigning tasks, leading the team, and ensuring high-quality execution. Problem-solving skills are a must, as you'll proactively identify and address challenges. You will keep stakeholders informed through regular status reports and ensure smooth project completion. In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures is essential.

Travel is required 25%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

  • Oversee all phases of construction/work orders, from initiation to completion.
  • Manage project schedules, activities, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Vet and build out subcontractor team within multiple locations/states.
  • Lead and collaborate with subcontractor teams, site supervisors, and foreman.
  • Develop and adhere to project budgets, timelines, and quality control plans.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other specialists to achieve project goals.
  • Secure necessary permits and ensure adherence to building codes and safety regulations.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including upper management, support staff, customers, and subcontractors.

Project Management and Control:

  • Utilize project management software to track progress, document achievements, and update schedules.
  • Estimate project resource needs and manage costs to stay within budget.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports to keep everyone informed on project status.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs effectively.

Teamwork and Business Ethics:

  • Delegate tasks to team members based on their strengths and experience.
  • Track project performance and analyze achievement of goals.
  • Foster positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct all business professionally and ethically, prioritizing client satisfaction and company success.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in construction science & management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a relevant field is preferred.

· Proven track record in construction management or a similar role with seven years of experience.

· OSHA training is a preferred qualification.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common construction software.

· Demonstrated understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principles. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, costs, and negotiations.

· Strong working knowledge of building products, construction methods, relevant regulations, and quality standards.

· Proven success in leading teams and delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
