ARaymond Manufacturing Center N.A. is Hiring a Coordinator Near Rochester, MI

PPAP Quality coordinator - possible hybrid (after training)

The PPAP Quality Coordinator supports the product quality function for Injection Molding products under the guidance of Quality Manager.

The PPAP Quality coordinator is also responsible for coordinating PPAP activities and supports in addressing customer concerns relative to the APQP / PPAP activities.

In addition, provides support for the APQP cross-functional team.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with all levels of APQP / PPAP cross-functional team.
  • Participate in creating, maintaining, and organizing PPAP core documentation.
  • Completes PPAP elements according to AIAG Guidelines and Customer Specific requirements.
  • Managing and completing APQP / PPAP deliverables onto customer portals as required, including IMDS.
  • Review supplier PPAP submission and communicate issues to achieve approve status.
  • Maintain revalidation PPAP schedule and submission.
  • Manage APQP / PPAP deliverables using A Raymond’s operating systems.
  • Develop good relationships with various functional team members to resolve PPAP issues as well as obtain data, documents, and reports.
  • Escalates issues to the Quality Engineer that will impact on APQP / PPAP timing
  • Manage customer specific requirements (CSR) related to PPAP deliverables.
  • Communicate with customers related to PPAP requirements.
  • Monitor PPAP KPI.
  • Maintain PPAP schedule to meet timing.
  • Perform any other quality related function, as requested, by Quality Manager

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred by not required.
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Assurance experience
  • Knowledge of QMS procedures, IATF, VDA and ISO standards
  • Knowledge of Automotive core tools : PFMEA, Process Flow & Control Plan
  • Good understanding of IMDS system

  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with cross-functional members and customers
  • Outstanding time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility
  • Frequent use of computer with repetitive mouse use, keyboarding and visual demands
