Qualifications
We are in search of a highly competent, driven, and professionally polished individual with a proven track record in both civil litigation and transactional work. The ideal candidate will excel in preparing discovery documents, crafting motions, and assisting with court filings and subpoenas. Additionally, a strong background in transactional law is highly desirable, including experience in drafting and reviewing various types of agreements such as operating agreements, NDAs, and purchase and sale agreements. An acute attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
Compensation

Position Details
The Private Firm, a boutique law firm specializing in civil litigation and transactional law, invites applications for a Paralegal role with at least 3 years of experience in Michigan business litigation to join our Oakland County, Michigan team. This position will focus on both civil litigation and transactional work, providing an exciting and varied professional experience.
In the civil litigation context, we expect a strong aptitude in drafting discovery, generating motions, facilitating court filings, handling subpoenas, maintaining calendars for multiple attorneys, and overseeing litigation-related activities.
On the transactional side, the candidate will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing a broad spectrum of legal documents including, but not limited to, operating agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and purchase and sale agreements. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and well-versed in the nuances of transactional law.
Exceptional written communication and proofreading skills are a prerequisite. The successful candidate will be capable of juggling multiple responsibilities effectively, working under tight deadlines, following up as necessary, and receiving constructive feedback positively.
