Tek One Solutions is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Richardson, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Install all low voltage type cable (Coax, CAT5, CAT6, Speaker, Access Control, etc.)
  • Understands architectural drawing for placement of wire
  • Experience in patch panels, racks, jacks
  • Experience in using a toner, tracker and labeler qualification
  • Installation such as network devices and patch panels, building out racks, and troubleshooting existing issues.
  • Experience and familiarity with audio, video, networks, network cameras, routers, cloud and VOIP systems
  • Responsible for enhancing over-all job site productivity
  • Ensuring high-quality work
  • Installing of cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
  • Ensuring all cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of previous work experience as a cable technician.
  • Ability to work in cramped spaces.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix any problems that may arise.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to identify independent colors and learn color codes.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:
