Position Summary : This pet passionate HR professional will be an integral member of our team, primarily supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources department and our overall goals and objectives.
This opportunity is a hybrid role based out of our dog friendly office in Creve Coeur, MO. Primary Responsibilities :
HR Administration Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining and updating employee records, managing the HRIS, and serving as the point of contact for company news and internal communications.
Compile HR data, metrics and analytics, generate management reports, and analyze trends for informed decision-making. Facilitate performance management processes, including mid-year and annual reviews, and provide feedback and support to employees and managers regarding performance improvement plans.
Maintains employment records and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices;
reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Recruitment, Onboarding, and Engagement Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop new sources to identify talent and assist the end-to-end recruitment process ensuring compliance with multi-state tax, hiring laws, and regulations.
Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Source candidates through various channels, screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview schedules.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications Facilitate seamless onboarding experiences for new hires.
Collaborate with managers to facilitate training and development initiatives that enhance employee skills and knowledge and professional development.
Support and assist with volunteer activities central to the Instinct Values, Mission, and Inclusion initiatives. Build, strengthen and drive employee engagement across all departments.
Benefits Administration Oversee employee benefits programs, facilitating open enrollment, managing changes, and addressing employee inquiries regarding benefits.
Manage workers' compensation, unemployment, disability, leaves of absence, and other related claims, including communicating with insurance providers and ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Employee Relations Act as a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, or conflicts.
Address complaints, conduct investigations into issues, and mediate conflicts between employees.
