Job Duties: Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate those to product engineering teams to help us fulfill our mission - to bring everyone the inspiration to create a life they love. Bring scientific rigor and statistical methods to the challenges of product creation, development, and improvement with an appreciation for the behaviors of the Pinners. Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale while developing comprehensive knowledge of data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed for product development. Work cross-functionally to build and communicate key insights, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers to help build the next experiences on Pinterest. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and one (1) year of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Statistical Analytics; (2) Machine Learning Decision Making; (3) SQL; (4) Data Management; (5) Data Analytics; (6) Operations Analytics; (7) Product Analytics; (8) Tableau; (9) A/B Testing; and (10) AWS. Telecommuting is permitted. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
Salary: $166,400.00 - $171,400.00 per annum.
