Job Overview :
The Home Friend Coordinator is responsible for assistingthe manager with maintaining daily functions of the Home Friend program.
Qualifications : Required :
Required :
- High School Diploma required
- Two year experience working with older adults and disabled
Preferred :
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Extensive computer skills
Scheduling Requirements :
Shift working : 8 : 30am-4 : 30pm
Essential Functions :
- Perform in home assessments to older adults and disabled
- Dispatch home friend workers into the homes of clients
- Prepare data for monthly reports to be delivered to the Essex County Division of Senior Services
- Assist manager with home friend staff
- Perform in home light chore services when home friend worker is not available to service their clients
- Assist manager with Volunteer Services as needed
