Job Summary

Responsiblefor overseeing Human Resources in all aspects

Major Responsibilities, Duties, Functions, and Tasks of the Position

    • Participatesin development and implementation of SRL’s integrated long-range strategic planwith goals and objectives consistent with organizations mission and purpose.Ensures the implementation of HR related strategic initiatives that directly supportthe overall plan objectives.
    • Overseeand provide direction and leadership of HR staff members to ensure personal andprofessional growth of staff members through defined roles and responsibilities.
    • Serveas a plan administrator for all SRL Medical and Voluntary insurance offerings.
    • Overseestaff development programs to ensure the quality of the materials being taughtare of a high quality and meet all state and federal requirements, utilize Paycomas the tracking source for both annual and license certifications.
    • Continuallydevelop and oversee all new hires to ensure consistency of hiring practices andprocedures, recruitment, hiring, and on boarding processes. This may involveconducting new hire orientation from time to time.
    • Serveas a point of contact for Paycom benefits management software and retirementbenefit provider file feeds.
    • Conductquarterly wage and benefit analysis fore review with CEO and CFO using local,state, and national data.
    • Maintainquarterly employment trends within the company and as a comparison to local,state and national benchmarks.
    • Responsibility for documentation andmanagement of all staff related policies and procedures to ensure compliance withstate and federal requirements
    • Responsible to work with Corporate Compliance ontesting compliance of staff related to policies and procedures
    • Represent SRL for all HR related legal inquiries andconcerns as well as serve on both the SRL Safety Committee and CARE workerscompensation and safety committee.
    • Act as point person for all unemployment, workerscompensation, EEOC, PHRC, PA Department of LCI, US Department of Labor in anyand all matters.
    • Maintain team member handbook to reflect relevantlegal update, benefit changes, wage calculations, etc.
    • Responsible to train and orient all direct levelstaff within SRL
    • Responsible to ensure all SRL team members complywith all policies related to employment, time and attendance, in service, etc.
    • Prepare reports and attend board meetings as requested
    • Participate in meetings, committees as requested bythe President and CEO.
    • Any other duties assigned by CEO.
