Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant include the following :

• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, organized, and clean kitchen
• Supporting each child’s allergies and follow policies and procedures
• Prepping and serving 9 classrooms breakfast, lunch and snack.
• Working with the kitchen manage and in conjunction with the entire faculty
• Stepping into the classroom IF NEEDED to help a cover a teacher's potty break or teacher's scheduled break, etc.

Qualifications

• Shows empathy and compassion for young children. Works as a team member and is flexible in job duties.
• Is dependable and adaptable and enjoys working together toward a common goal.
