Rainbow Tree Company, a values-driven organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position based out of our Minnetonka, Minnesota office and offers the ability for a hybrid work schedule.

Accountabilities:

• Own and manage assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close cycle.
• Lead the building of the next level expense reporting process and solution for Rainbow that will deliver timely and accurate expense reporting across Business Units and departments.
• Leverage high level data intelligence capabilities and creativity to bring ongoing improvements in how key management information is surfaced and communicated.
• Own and manage aspects of the annual audit and tax process.
• Be a leader, be coachable and a coach, and engage with business partners and teams to produce breakthrough results.
• Crosstrain across financial team roles as backup.

Qualifications:

• S. or equivalent with a major in accounting or related discipline.
• High-level skill and experience with MS Excel (Pivot, Lookup, and other data manipulation).
• Superior math and analytical skills.
• 2 years of industry or public accounting experience.
• Ability to speak in public and communicate to groups, individuals, and various levels of the Company.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Acumatica or other G/L accounting software.
• Concur administration experience.
• VENA reporting tool or similar financial reporting platform.
