Humera is Hiring a Change Management Consultant (818970) Near Minnetonka, MN

Our client, a major player in the health insurance industry in the Midwest, is looking for a Change Management Consultant to join their team on 6-month contract basis, with possibility of extension. This position will report to HR and IT, and will focus on Processes and People within IT and across the Business.
The purpose of this role is to understand and guide company stakeholders on how they work with Technology and Delivery and the new Operating Model to plan, build, and operate business capabilities to meet strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying root causes and creating planned approaches to measurably improve issues, enabling smoother and more efficient workflows, and managing business stakeholders (by listening and acting on their feedback to influence the business within existing team frameworks). This position will act as a change leadership coach and consultant to Delivery Senior Leadership, and will require occasional on-site work, so only candidates local to the Twin Cities (MN) will be considered at this time.
Duties
  • IT Delivery Team: Roles and Responsibilities (30%)
    • Enable role clarity within the Delivery Teams
    • Solve for areas of friction within the current Delivery Team
    • Set-up feedback loop for measuring and sustaining improvement over time
  • Employee Experience: Enable feedback loop and spearhead efforts to increase engagement, decrease burnout (25%)
    • Lead effort to consolidate and identify employee pain-points and solve for them
    • Use existing employee data plus additional feedback mechanisms and external best practices/knowledge to create a structured plan for improvement
    • Set-up feedback loop for measuring and sustaining improvement over time that actively involves employees at all levels.
  • Business Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships in an effort to improve workflow and product turnaround time (20%)
    • Serve as a liaison to the business as the representative of the company's Delivery Team and Operating Model
    • Build relationships with key business stakeholder; identify and communicate back themes around friction in working within the construct of the Delivery Team, as well as wins
    • Work with Delivery Sr. Leadership to recommend and implement an approach to influence stakeholder behavior change to decrease friction and increase efficiency within the team workflow
  • Change Leadership: Act as coach and consultant to Delivery Team Sr. Leaders (25%)
    • Identify and coach on actions leaders can take to help enable Delivery Team process and people changes
    • Curate resources (as needed) to support Delivery Team Sr. Leadership in leading the change
    • Set leaders up with metrics to use to gauge success of Delivery Team process and Employee Experience efforts into the future
Requirements
  • 8 years experience in change management: root-cause analysis, creating, gaining buy-in for and implementing measurable plans to improve
  • Understanding of IT organizations and Agile methodology
  • Experience influencing and working with all levels in an organization as a consultant and coach
  • Understanding of approaches to bring stakeholders along who are at various levels of understanding and acceptance
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly organized with an innate ability to follow instructions while working under pressure
  • Strategic thinking, adaptability, and complex problem solving/critical thinking a plus
